Thanks to everyone, for the feed back and reviews of my recently released book FATHER POWER. I truly appreciate you taking the time.
I am very happy to report that this little book has been received well. Thank you all for your support.
For those of you that have not read this book:
Father Power is a celebration of the important role fathers play in their children’s lives. It is my desire through this little book to help Fathers discover what makes a great dad and spouse/partner and to show them just how needed and powerful they really are in their children’s lives.

Why Isn’t It Perfect? This is a question I get asked often from singles who have found their soulmate. I will try to answer this question as best as I can.
Being with your loving soulmate will (at least most of the time) feel wonderful and you will undoubtedly experience many moments of bliss. But does this mean you and your partner will never argue and that you will always be deliriously happy? No, of course not!
Just as you and I are not perfect, your soulmate isn’t either. But while you can clearly see his or her faults, your love for each other will be enough to overcome most obstacles. Even soulmate relationships need work and relationship skills from both partners. Remember that you have come together again to love each other and to continue to learn and grow. Keep the lines of communication open, respect each other’s space and individuality, and work to keep the magic alive. Check out an article I wrote recently that will answer this question in more detail entitled Why the Fascination With Soulmates?
Best wishes,
Joanne B. Parrotta

Summer here in Vancouver, BC is winding down nicely. Most days are still warm, while nights are getting a little cooler. I really don’t mind the cool weather – I love the fall.
Well, summer holidays are over! It is now time to get back to work. I am now working on my sixth book entitled FATHER POWER , which is about the importance of the father-child bond. Father Power is a guide to becoming a great father, but just as important, great husbands/partners.
Look for it soon!

Hello everyone!
It has been a while since my last post. I apologize! Family obligations as well as putting the last minute touches on my new book: Baby & You: The Little Book of Mother and Baby Care has left me with little time for blogging.
I do however have an exciting annoucement that I would like to share with all of you: I’m happy to annouce the engagement of my eldest daughter. Now the planning of the big Italian/Croatian wedding begins. Fun, fun!
I’ll keep you all informed.
Till next time,
Joanne

Attention Visitors:
I have unfortunately been the victim of a Spammer. Towards the end of May 2008, someone hacked an email form in one of my websites and sent out 98000 emails under my email address. I assure you that I did not send any of these emails. I do not know what these emails were about. All I know is that they contained three links to other sites. I just want to assure you that these messages did not come from me.
Someone else was forging my email address to send their SPAM. If you received an email which is allegedly from me, with my domain name (www.amatterofdestiny.com and www.wiseadvicebooks.com) in the month of May/08, but doubt it’s authenticity, I would appreciate it if you could forward the entire message to me, with a subject of “forged email”. This information will help us in tracking down the individual(s) responsible for forging my email address/domain. I do not want anyone sending SPAM with my name on the message. See my contact page for my contact information.
I assure you that the problem has been resolved. I thank you all for your cooperation and I appologize for any inconvenience these spammers may have caused.
